With a huge collection of on-demand movies, FilmRise is an excellent free option for cord cutters. Look for new releases and must-see movies, along with harder to find titles, independent films, and foreign language films. When it comes to free content, we love using the local library. Thanks to Hoopla, many cord cutters can access digital media for free with a library card. Check to see if your local library offers access to this free streaming service then add the app on Roku for easy access to the collection.
Kanopy is another streaming service that partners with libraries across the country to provide free content with a library card. If your local library is partnered with Kanopy, you’ll have access to the collection of content which includes a section just for kids.
